Hacienda Los Milagros is a newly reimagined villa on Punta Mita’s premier beach, in the ultra-exclusive Ranchos community so we devised a visual language that balances the best of Mexican beach vernacular, combined with the old-world charm of the grand historic haciendas, but articulated through a lens of vibrance and storytelling, with playful and ownable elements haloing key information. To keep that playfulness elevated, it was embedded in reassuringly elegant typography, vintage illustrations, and a colorful yet sophisticated graphic language.

The owners were clear about wanting to create a language that exists out of time, neither trendy nor staid, a vibrant yet restful environment informed both by pleasure and connoisseurship. It was important to maintain the history of the house, one that has always been filled with antiques and art. What emerged was a bit of the best of Mexican beach vernacular, combined with the old-world charm of the grand historic haciendas of the interior and a dash of vintage Hollywood.
